Worship

Vision

Our vision for worship is to see God for who He is and respond in gratitude, thanksgiving and awe. This response encompasses everything about our lives; all that we do and say, our relationships, our time, and how we love the people around us. One of the ways this worship takes shape when we gather together is through music, as we weave word and melody, creating space for reflection, thanksgiving and praise, and affirming in song the Good News of Jesus that has given us life. Like the Psalms, there is a song for every season of the soul, and so we seek to reflect that in the styles and eras of the songs we sing, as well as in the bands that lead them.

We believe that this vision and response, if lived into within community, will begin to rightly reorder our hearts, our minds, our affections and our imagination around God’s goodness and grace.

Being a Team Member

Worship band members take part in leading our congregation in worship during Sunday morning services. Our members devote themselves to worshiping God as a regular feature of their personal and corporate lives. Our members are also committed to getting with their musical proficiency as instrumentalists and/or vocalists. We are looking for volunteers in the following areas: Vocals, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, electric bass, piano/keyboards, synthesizers and drums.

Our worship team is committed to attend these times:
- Thursdays, 7:00-9:00pm rehearsal.
- Sundays, 8:00am rehearsal and 10:00am service.
If you are interested in serving in our worship ministry, please contact our worship director Brian Manucduc.

Blue Mountain Worship Playlist

At Blue Mountain, we believe that worshipping Jesus should be at the centre of all that we do. We created a playlist that we hope will empower you to worship throughout the week as you study, commute, workout, etc. This playlist is made up of some songs that we sing together at Sunday morning gatherings, some that we hope to sing together in the future, and others that we simply think will help you worship Jesus in your everyday experience.
